We are launching our very first contest as a super group! Our Ministry of Fun has been working hard on the concept, and there are awesome prizes to be won. Here are the details:

Everybody has their own image and perception of Europe. We at #europeans decided it was fun to see what Europe means to you. What does Europe mean to you? What makes you feel European? It could be anything, ranging from events (Octoberfest, Bastille Day) to local traditions. Maybe it's a certain place in Europe that makes you feel like a European. Let's go beyond the traditional images of coins, flags and maps, and show us the real meaning of Europe.

Describe it in photos, photomanipulations, drawings, painting, text art, literature... any platform you desire! Be creative, and show what Europe really means to you!

Specifications
You can submit art from any platform deviantART supports and you desire. The submission has to be on deviantART as a deviation. The deviation has to be an original work posted on or after September 29, 2009, so no old stuff! Motivate your contest entry by writing down in the description how the deviation describes 'your Europe'. Deviations that do not have this description will be rejected from the contest. Also limit yourself to one deviation. Uploading multiple can result to us declining all of your entries.

Please send a note titled 'My Europe' with a link to the contest entry to #europeans.
The deadline is November 8, 2009 Extended to December 1, 2009!
