what is Europeans ?

- the aim of Europeans is to have a European community at DeviantArt.com,
recognize each other, share ideas, our different cultures etc.

- another aim is to make everyone of us known to the community by putting the "europeans" icon in your journal

- there will also be member tasks (you're not obliged to participate).

winter wallpaper contest

Yes yes.. it's that time of the year again..
It's that time when we.. your favourite community.. challenge you to participate in one of our big-ass contests..

The theme this time is winter.. to be more specific.. winter wallpapers.
So we want you to design a winter themed wallpaper.. That's it.




oh yes... there will be prizes:

Of course.. every contest needs some rules..
I you fail to follow these rules you will be disqualified.

- you have to be a member or =europeans.

- your entry must be posted in the wallpaper category and must therefore have the correct dimensions:

640x480 px
800x600 px
1024x768 px
1152x864 px
1280x960 px
1280x1024 px
1400 x 1050 px
1600x1200 px
2048x1536 px


- your entry must be your own work !

- your entry must be created for this contest, you can't post and submit old work.

- you can post any kind of artwork you want.. as long as it follows the rules of the wallpaper category.. this means that you can post photography, digital art, traditional art.. anything. Which also means that we will have only 1 category.. and 1 grand prize winner..

- you can also post as much entries as you want.. no limit what-so-ever..

Introduction

It's time for our second big contest.
The theme this time is "back to school".. the goal remains the same:

Create something about this theme.
Be as orignal as possible.. everything is allowed as long as it has
something to do with the theme.




Rules ( please read this )

:bulletgreen: To join this contest, you have to be a member of =europeans. If you're not a member yet, send us a note with the subject "wanne join".

:bulletgreen: Once again, we have two categories: photography and digital art. We'll only allow submissions that fit into these categories.

:bulletgreen: Since there are 2 categories, we'll have 2 winners. Each winner will receive a 1 month subscription.

:bulletgreen: Deadline: Sept. 15.

:bulletgreen:You can submit as many entries as you want.... but.

:bulletgreen:Your entry has to be a new artwork, something you created for this contest. Old artwork will be rejected.

:bulletgreen: Last and most important rule is to have fun.
